i got my 6.0 in with the turbo and stuff. the t56 is making a loud whine like a violin that seems to be louder in lower rpms, it is built by six speeds inc and have a warranty in houston but i guess theyre out of business now and im looking for someone to fix the problem.

 

Could be a bearing, I remeber mine made a like almost a high pitched howl, similar to rearend gears when there not set up right. I ended up breaking the output shaft so i had to get it replaced and 4th gears bearings were gone. I would get it checked out sooner than later.

So speed doesn't have much to do with it, just RPM? As much as I hate to say it I'd get the tranny out of there and have somebody look at it as soon as you can.
