ok I've got $1500 to spend.
specs on my car are 2000 trans am 6 speed w/ B&M shifter, lid w/K&N,
LS1 hot cam, mac mid length headers, no cats, true duals..basically small stuff...currently I have a pinion bearing that is howling and getting louder...I want to get the most speed out of my money..my question is should I get 3.73 gears installed while the rear end is being torn apart anyways
(~$500-$600) and also buy an LS6 intake(~$300), Shaner S3 ported TB(~$130) under drive pulley(~$150) .
..OR should I just replace just the pinion bearing and leave the stock 3.42 gears in and put the LS6 intake w/ shaner ported TB, bigger cam, underdrive pulley? would the gears be worth it going from 3.42 to 3.73 gears(yes I would want 3.73's as I do like roll racing and I drive on the freeway all the time).
What would you guys do?

id buy the 9" rear while you can for that price. your gona keep upgrading and neglecting the weal 10 bolt thats in your car and end up screwing up the gears that you paid for man.......kinda think ahead you know
