That is really well suited for a heavier suv/truck. I am putting something similar into my TBSS... my TBSS needs the torque though as it weighs almost 5k lbs.

I agree with avenged...go with something a little bit bigger than what you have picked out. I got my TSP Torquer V.2 in the mail a couple weeks ago...just waiting for some more funds so I can get the final valvetrain upgrades. But seriously, look at something a tad bigger bro...u'll be much more happy.

Bolt ons will get you into the 12's. How far into the 12's are you wanting to go and what do you run now? A converter will net you a better ET than that cam. Put your $ there and on some good tires and possibly suspension mods.
It looks like a grind from 1999. Is it a Crane grind? I'm not against small cams, but that LSA is way too wide IMO and there are much better options. You'll be leaving a lot on the table and for the price of a cam swap and supporting mods, you might as well get something better.

You could possibly get into 12.9's with just a converter and drag radials.
My old '98 Z28 auto with 3.23's ran a 12.01@113 with a lid, ported TB, FAST 78 intake, LT's, 3" dumped duals w/no cats, FM13 cam and a TCI 3500 converter. That was also on 275/40/17 Nitto 555R's. Just food for thought.

You could make plenty of power with that cam while keeping like stock drivability. Bigger cams will make more power, but in many cases it is just dyno power. Something like a 224/224 566/566 112 while being just slightly bigger can get you around 400rwhp with the right supporting mods. You won't have to do a 4500 stall to take advantage of it either like the 230+ duration cams. It's all about what you are looking for.
