I don't wonder why athletes carry guns. They make lots of money, flaunt it and are in the public eye. Instead of carrying guns in their warm up suits they ought to try and carry them in a holster, like they are meant to be carried. That way they aren't fumbling with them and accidentally shooting themselves with it, like Plaxico. Another thing they should not bring firearms into a club or while they are out drinking with their buds in da hood. That would solve most athletes firearms related problems.
