Default Anyone running this cam??

Edelbrock RPM 430HP camshaft

Edelbrock claims 433 HP and 421 Ft/Lbs. of Torque on a stock tune and stock heads. and i'll buy it, but are those number attainable on a stock vehicle?? or could it of been a full intake full exhaust car?

207/220 .573/.580 118lsa

Very, very small and mild cam. Yeah it will wake up a little, but there cams out there that are bigger and still retain good drive ability that will gain you way more power.

The 433/421 number is most likely on an engine dyno which would yield roughly 360-370whp.

Man, almost like the GT2-3 lingenfelter cam. ACtually, same darn specs. I would not expect 360-370 without exhaust and a LS6 intake.

thats what i was thinking, i mean i doubt you'd get a 65 hp gain on a completely stock vehicle, atleast with a cam that size

You may as well go with an ls6 cam at that point.

They probably dyno'd it with headers. In that case, I could see 360whp easy. I know my 02 SS made 340whp with long tubes, a lid, and no cats. Most cars are in that range, so another 20hp from that cam is definitely believable. Probably about it though lol.

Whats the point of even marketing such a small cam? Just dont go to big and you will stay in the DD status.
