Man, sorry to hear that. Had the same thing happen to me a while back. Pretty much pissed me off.

Another time the wind about ruined my day was when I was sitting in my car, and this rather large black woman got into her car next to me. Well, when she opened her door, and tried getting in, she let go of the door, despite the fact that the wind was blowing like crazy. It blew her door wide open, missing my passenger side door by about 1/2 inch. Good thing I parked closer to the other side. Her door opened with such force, it would have been bad.

yeah the wind can be a MF when opening your car door.

One time my GF was getting out of her car and the this huge gust of wind blew the door out of her hand and slammed it into the car next to her. It put a nice gouge in the car by its wheel well. Since I was there she had no choice but to leave a note with her contact info etc. When we came back to her car later the other car was gone, and they were apparently nice enough not to ever call and ask for a repair. I think she learned to always grab the door handle with a strong grip from now on

That is exactly how the wind was blowing today.. I am a pretty big guy, and was holding on to the door and it still felt as though it was coming off of the body.

I'm gonna be sure to hold the door with BOTH hands when I get in and out wherever I go today. Also, I won't park near anyone.

SON OF A BITCH!!!!! I went to go wash my car, and the SECOND I let go of my door, the strongest damn gust of wind you've ever seen comes up, grabs my door, and slams it into the wall. ******* chipped/cracked the paint on the edge of my door.

I have some touch up paint, and I touched it up the best I could. It looks a lot better, but it's still noticeable. To ME anyways...

That sucks seems like the sand/wind blasted all the paint on my car off today. My car was also facing directly against the wind. You wouldnt beleive the amount of sand I just dumped out of the filter...

B) they dont give a **** about your car and will park next to you and ding it just to **** you off

most times its going to be option b

At college, there's this one fat, MAJORLY bitchy girl. She has a POS V6 '96 mustang. When she opens her door, she literally SWINGS her door wide open, usually hitting the car next to her because she doesn't care.

Well about a week ago, she parked next to my friend who has a FLAWLESS blue '05 GTO. He babies the HELL out of it. Well, when she gets in her car to go home, as usual, she swings the door open. Her door hits my friend's GTO with enough force that I could hear it across the parking lot. I look over, and see what happened. I run over to his car and see the biggest, DEEPEST gash you've ever seen.

I ran to his class and told him what happened, and he runs out of class and sees it. He goes looking for the girl, but can't find her. She skipped the next two days of class and a major exam.

Needless to say, when she shows back up, it WON'T be good.
