Default New Keys

So my car keys were stolen, and now I want to get a new set so that I do not have to worry about someone coming up to my car and just unlocking the doors.

Anyone know what I will have to do in order to get this done? I have no idea where to start except for telling the dealership I need a new set of keys....

You'll need all new locks. Door locks, Hatch lock, and Ignition lock... Either go the cheap route and find someone parting out the car and see if you can grab all those locks and keys or go to dealership. I remember getting a new key and igintion key plus the ignition it was around 100$. Key is like 40$ with resister in it, iginition is like 80$, Door key should come with the new locks. So im assuming you'll be paying some where in the range of $200 + dollars.... Infact ill call gm now and see what they go for!

I was told you'll need the vin # but based on my old 95 camaro the prices were...

1. Resistor Key - $30 - $40
2. Ignition cylinder - $85 - $131
3. Door lock (not sure if pair or not) $34 - $56
4. Rear hatch lock - $150 (roughly)

Oh man, I didn't even think about getting the new door and hatch locks, thanks for reminding me for that. Thanks for the help too, I was actually expecting it to be a bit more.

The locks will not come coded. You might just call a locksmith, and they can recode your locks.
