Then I put $20K down.
I got financing through a credit union. I'll put it this way: I was paying $360/month on my '06 Accord (paid off in February). The note on the Vette is $387/month. I'm paying $400, just to accelerate payments a bit. Since I have no other car notes, that is very affordable...especially for what amounts to my dream car. It took a lot of patience to save up for it, but that huge down payment made it all worth it.
I might have found one cheaper, had I gone private party, but I certainly can't complain, especially with the options and the mileage.

The main reason I haven't been out to Kemah is because I was so afraid to drive the Camaro/put miles on it while trying to sell it. That, and I've been ridiculously busy.

Thanks all! I'm not planning anything for it yet. When the tires wear out, I'll probably look at buying new wheels/tires. Other than that, the plan is to just enjoy this thing for a while before I start dicking around with it.
I drove it to work and dinner with friends yesterday. PERFECT day to have the roof off! I love this car!
