Hey, Im going to a Houston Astros game Next week and was looking at the Hotels around there. Man they are Pricy. I found one at a descent price on North freeway, in between 610 and downtown, but I was wondering how the neighborhood was around there? Or if you all recommend something closer to Minute Maid Park and at a descent price. I mean descent as in less than $100 and around a good neighborhood. Thanks in advance.

That is a pretty run down area, not a hardcore ghetto, but I would stay on my toes...

There's alot of bums around Minute Maid Park. But there's lots of hotel/motels in the area just keep looking you'll find one cheaper.

Found a days inn right outside of 610 on I-10. Hows that area?

dude try to stay off beltway8 there are some nice new hotels there.610-10 that is a pretty ruff area..
