New style of dynamometer...
I'm sure many of you have not seen something like this yet. I learned about it because i went to my uncle's machine shop to work on my barstool racer () and met a guy that was in charge of building these things. I looked at the parts he was having cut and couldn't figure out where they went in a dyno and had to step in and ask. Here's a video from their web site of the "new style" of dyno...

Seems pretty interesting to me. My uncle is cutting the large aluminum boxes and the hubs that bolt to the axles and various other pieces.
And I was invited to be a "guinea pig" once some of the dynos are put together. What are y'all's thoughts on the new portable dynamometers?

You don't feel as lame as me. I started a thread on it. I figured they had been around a while, but still I've never heard of them. And no one else I asked has heard either.
It's a company based out of ft. worth also. I forgot to mention that.

There is
one here local somewhere. We used it at Madmans shop on Pains car. We did 617 hp to the rear wheels. It worked really nice. $500 dollars to tune the car.
