Places to hang in DFW?

Places to hang in DFW? Just got completely settled in down here. I live in the Mission apartments over on Mayfield rd.
Currently looking for a job and stuff but also looking to start meeting some cool people I hope. I don't have my car here, just a base model truck until I get used to the driving here and get a torque converter and better insurance on my car.
Just wondering if there's anything really cool I should check out. Not really into dance clubs or that kinda stuff.
If anyone in the area might be down for chilling sometime or something I have a hookah and am usually down for a drink or two and just hanging out if there's not something going on to go out and check out.

Hey there is a nice size car meet tonight at 635 and 30 in mesquite..........lots of cars free MONSTER drinks and i think it's catered by COLTER'S only been once my first time lst week but it was a good meet ! ! !
