Oh, the beer will definitely be flowing at the condos we're staying at on the Comal, lol. We're at Comal Condos, right across the river from the new part of Schlitterbahn, so we're in the prime spot where everyone is floating by. The "scenery" is alway good, lol.

Here's a link to the official Canyon Dam release site, which I think the site you referenced links to. Nonetheless, here ya go: http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/canyon/

The Guadalupe is going to have a lot of stagnant spots on it and you will have to walk parts of it due to it being so low. Been there, done that. The Comal it is for me!

The weather forecast according to weather.com shows a 50% chance of rain in NB for Saturday. Let's hope the rain holds off until after this weekend!

They changed the forecast now to 20%. It's all good! By this time tomorrow I'll be drinking a cold one hanging out by the river.

I'll prob be at the river sat, sun, and monday . Not sure if we're going to the guad, comal, or the SM river yet, probably end up going to a couple of them. We floated the SM river on Tuesday, it was low in a few spots, but not too bad. Gotta love the SM river though, no cops.

We floated the Comal on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday sucked because it rained and was kind of cold. Sunday was sunny and awesome! Drank a lot of beer though.

I'm not super familiar with all the different places around here, since i'm not a native Texan/Houstonian..but I know the gf and friends will be going to Garner (?) next weekend..Friday till Sunday. I'm excited; I used to 'float the river' back home in Florida, at Blackwater River. It will be nice to do that again!

Saturday we floated the Guadalupe because we could get out of the river 30 ft. away from our site. It was convienient but we did a lot of walking. Sunday we hit the Comal, that was a blast, floated it twice that day, drank a ton of beer!

Hey, mmiller, are those condos fairly affordable? We were checking those out in passing. Looks like it'd be a great spot to be at.
