Default Why are Hooker headers so damn expensive?

I'm looking at getting longtube headers and an offroad y pipe for my ws6. i was looking at mac and pacesetters when i noticed the hookers which were over double the price! what makes the hookers so much better than mac and pacesetter sound-wise and performance-wise?

Pacesetters aren't the same as Macs. Pacesetters are LT's.

One reason Hookers are more expensive is that you're paying extra for a brand. Pacesetters do well, fit fine, and are very popular. If they cost less, run them.

Have you priced a set of Kooks? Go price them and you will feel better about Hooker.

Fit, finish, and not all Longtubes are created equal. Some are beefier then others.

A lot of my buddies back in the day ran Pacesetters and they would bolt up no problem. I got some JetHot hookers and they were a tight fit. I had to notch my
K-Member to get them to fit.

i found hooker headers for off of sumitt for like 310 or so which is like a couple dollars cheaper then the pacesetters... the other hooker headers inlet tubes are like 1 7/8 but i think the 1 3/4 would do fine... IMO
