It is hard to compair car to car. Had a buddy that had a car with mid lenght headers, ory, freemods, and a 2800 vig. car ran 12.2 before the exhaust was changed.

Had another buddy that had longtubes, ory, some kind of converter, lid and a bunch of other misc. bs with a tune and he could not get out of the 13's.

well yeah... each car responds diff to mods. maybe his got more hp from the mods than i did.

How long have you been racing?

There is more to it than that, and I never said it was difficult. There are some tips and tricks that help, but I see you're already an expert.

ived had my car for a year an ever since i bought it i have been racing, an im not saying im an expert. but i get the same time as my friend does when ived let him drive my car and he has about 3 to 4 years of racing. he's the one that runs the 8.1 on his ss

I ran a 70 SS w/ a th350 for 12 years and learned things from older guys when I was a young buck, but you're right. All you do for an auto is pull up to the line and go.

My last 1/8 mi pass was 8.24@83.72.

Mods are: 3400 rpm converter, and MT et radials, K&N filter.
I have factory gears, factory exhaust, factory lid...

My 60' times are low 1.8. What are yours? Are they consistant. Your 60' time will say a lot about how you launch/drive your A4.

A converter and good tires should speed you up.

As far as racing an auto.
Ask Schumacher if all he needs to do is line up his auto trans. car and go when the light turns green.

I don't want to start a , but don't get offended when people give you feedback on a forum. That's what they're for. You might have learned something from Greed4Speed if you had asked. Maybe not.

I'd do a converter and then get a tune. It should run high 7's on good tires with ease.

well seems like now one really answered my question. all i was looking for was for someone that knows more then i do to tell me how much i would gain with those mods.

No, peolpe answered your question just fine. You didn't like the answer.

I prayed to God for a million dollars, and he didn't answer! He did answer. He said, "NO!"

What improvements will you get with gears and a tune? Not what you're looking for. 0.1-0.2? Your limitations are tires and converter. A good converter netted my car .4 in the 1/4 so about .2 in the 1/8th.
