Default Best shop in DFW?

I'm needing suspension work done (shocks, springs, LCA's, panhard bar) and looking for the best shop to go to. I've heard HPP Racing, Speed Tek, and RPM are the places to go but I've heard good and bad things about all 3. Which place is REALLY the best?

I would personally take my car to HPP. They build alot of high horse power cars so id imagine they will know their suspension.

HPP would be my second option.

SNL gets my vote. Same shop that produces Monster clutches.

Billy Ray Motorsports. This is a division of Speedtek. He works at Speedtek, but has his own laws for doing suspension work. In short, call Speedtek and ask to speak with Billy Ray. BRM...more power...period.

FYI, Wolfe doesn't work on many cars these days. I doubt he would do it.

OP, you can do everything yourself except for the front shock/springs. id get those professionally done, since not everyone has a #50 Torx head and a good quality spring compressor...

of everything you mentioned you want to do to your car suspension wise, i did myself with basic hand tools, except for the front suspension done by RPM, and have not had a single issue...

Wolfe and James B build race cars....not bolt parts on. James might if he were slow, but I think he stays pretty busy.

his website says "anything to do with a street car or race car". i've talked to him and he is willing to work people in when he can. i agree about doing it yourself but any of the welding or cutting i'm leaving to someone that knows what they are doing. i would love to learn but i'm not going to try it unsupervised.

Any mechanic shop can do all that, even a muffler shop. Id just find a friend to do it for you. Doesnt have to be a "speed" shop to be done right, IMO.
Id do it for a 6 pack and some hot cheetos but i got a few cars to work on already.

Call Jason at Texas Racewerks. He's in the west Fort Worth area. He builds cars of all sorts. Has 2 4th gen cars there now. He custom fabricates anything and everything... second to none. The Outlaw 10.5 car he built is leading the points race in the King of the Hill series.
