i cant stand when everyone says best fighter pound for pound in the world how stupid........ anderson will be beat soon probably by forest.... its any givin day when your at that level !!!! i know no one said this above but i get tired of hearing this all the time! does anyone else?

Nobody dominated their sports like the above two people. No losses goes a long way. When you combine the best skills and best records it's hard to argue that anyone is better.
I don't know why Sherdog has Silva as best, yes he's dominated in the UFC but he's only fought a declining Franklin and an old Henderson.

Fedor is the most calculated fighter out there, he's not going to just "swing". And if you watch his fights you'll notice he has almost the best takedown defense in all of MMA...which is a result of his sambo/judo training.

I think it would be a very good fight; nobody gives Brock credit for being as athletic as he is for his size. If Fedor gets taken down I wonder if he would be able to get Brock off of him....
funniest thing i've heard all day lol... silva is going to retire soon and i think he's just riding his contract out... franklin is like a year older than silva, henderson around 4 years older, and griffin is younger so you can't really pull the age card... franklin and griffin have been beat up quite a bit but hendo still has some left in him i think... silva is in good shape at his age because he hasn't been hurt much, if at all, in any of his fights

Dude you are crazy, fedor would destroy Brock Lesnar. Lesnar is a slow puncher, and has no stand up skills besides a heavy punch. I think Shane Carwin could beat him. He has good wrestling but his size is the only reason why he has been winning he doesnt possess the skill to beat someone like Fedor. He has beaten bigger better fighters with no problems. He has no weaknesses. If lesnar does manage to take him down, he will be submitted. He also carries too much muscle and looked very tired against randy in the 2nd round. Lesnar will lose soon. And he is way to cocky for being so inexperienced.

Don't get me wrong I do feel that lesnar has skills. But to be on fedors level and compete there he will need more time to train bjj. he has already shown that he can get rocked pretty easily. He does recover quickly but this is fedor.
Anyone can make highlight video's that make a fighter seem like they are the baddest man on the planet.
That being said Fedor is the baddest man on the planet. I hope to see him sign in UFC and see what he can do with the freak that is Brock.

I am well aware of where the highlights are from, but I've seen similar highlight vids for other fighters in the past. I'm just saying anyone can have a vid that makes them seem unbeatable...Fedor may be the only one it's true for.
I look at it like this:
The only person that has a chance to beat Fedor in reality is Brock.
The only person that has a real chance to beat Brock is Fedor.
Lesnar shows GREAT changes and improvement every time i see him fight. The Mir fight was by far an excellent show of his ability to gain skill and learn from his mistakes. If he fought Fedor and lost, he would probably get him in a rematch. Guy is determined to the bone no doubt.
This is just what makes sense to me. Both are great world class fighters and i would not be bothered by who won. A) Lesnar beats that proclaimed best in the world. B) He loses to the baddest and it took the best to beat him.
