Will be in Plano this weekend from Ohio Wife and I are flying down for an interview for her.
Anyone want to meet up for a beer and tell us about the area?
If we were to move down are the any areas to watch out for??
We fly in friday and back out on Sunday, We are staying at the NYLO hotel anything to check out in that area??

im not familiar with NYLO?
plano is a nice town, i would suggest something on the west side but there really arent any parts i would suggest watching out for
local forums

lots of car meets and activities go on, only problem is we are about an hour and a half from the closest tracks

NYLO is a sweet hotel, defenitly spend some time in the bar there downstairs.
Stonebriar mall is right up Preston Road on the other side of 121 Tollroad. Rough Riders Ball park is just up the Dallas Tollway from you pass the huge IKEA store.
Just as ChryslerKid said, there are plenty of meets that go on in the area, RickeKiller is the biggest/flashiest but still has a lot of ricers that go. Kinda far from the racetracks but the Plano area is very nice, great place to live. Nice quiet suburb close to a lot of the nice things in the metroplex!
