My first car when I was 15 was a 1996 Mustang GT. It was manual, and it was pretty nice for a 15 yr. old. I sold that a year later and got a 1998 Integra Type-R because I wanted something with speed, that was a little more practical. I kept that for a while until I sold that and got my current car.
Never been happier.

1975 Trans Am, 400/4-spd/3.08, Navy Blue/Camel but it looked like hell. Got it for free though not running but with a trunk load of new HP parts. A old man friend had it behind his house because his son who started it died during a routine surgery a few years prior to me asking for it in 1986. My step-father who is also a mechanic helped me build it with a set of Ram Air III heads, Erson cam, Edelbrock intake, 4-tube headers, and a Holley carb. I raced it at evey opportunity and cruised the NW Harris Co. area every weekend. I only lost one race and it wasn't running right that night. It ruled the Magnolia/Tomball area high school rides for about a year and a half until I dropped a valve and scattered the guts. I bought a 1969 GTO Judge from an add in the Houston paper for $1800 to replace it because the body was solid. Those were the days. I'd love to have either one of them now. Speaking of now I have the 99 Firehawk, two Thunderbird SC's, an 83 Mustang Vert, a 496 Silverado HD, and several beaters and wrecks. So I'm not bitter.
Cool post I love reading these.

Technially a 69 Fastback.
But my first car I myself got was a 94 Camaro two years ago at 14. It needed so much work but it ran great. The clutch wouldn't ever engage so I never got to drive it. Then when I went to sell it we finally got the clutch slave thing to start working so I only got to drive it once or twice the two years I had it. One kid was test driving it and we were doing 80mph in the neighborhood, scared the **** out of me. That car was pretty fast.
My first real car was my 95 Camaro. I asked the neighbor about it and she said she would take $1000 for it. I nearly flipped and ran to get my cash, the car looked mint inside. My stepdad thought the engine was blown or something and tried to scan the computer and crap. I was like "Are you ******* stupid? Look at this car compared to the 94!" Still have it now, it gets horrible gas mileage and is really slow but it looks nice.

My first vehicle was a 1967 Ford F100 that me and my dad rebuilt together.
Loved that truck but I had to sell it because I wanted something fast and didn't get 8 miles a gallon.

1987 Crysler LeBaron 2dr turbo. It was a hand down to me. It was a cool car. Talking computer was funny too. All digital gauges. Fun until the turbo blew its seals. 1 qt of oil per tank of gas got old. Still sweet when it ran tho. After that I went to a 95 bird 5 speed never looked back since.

1973 chevy luv. Was a piece of crap, but taught me respect for a vehicle and the road. Only two wrecks in my life were in that truck. Damn thing shifted all 4 gears by 35mph

Had an 89 rs w/ 2.8 t5, never got it to run.. Then a 91 rs hardtop w/ 3.1 t5... Beat the wheels off of it, and old ppl ended up totalling it in a 3 car pile up with a 85 and 79 year olds. Then a 91 hardtop rs 305 700r. Wouldn't evver die even with 7500+ nuetral drops lol then 96 z28 hardtop t56 full exhaust and cai(13.4 @ 106) now current car in sig. It's been fun going from the smallest motor almost ever put in camaros to the best now
I slowly but surely made my way to the top haha plus like that 4 of the 5 cars I've owned have been hardtop. Ttops aren't my thing.
