Thinking about an LS1 again...
Would like to get into something more fun again. I was talking to my buddy the other night and I agree with his statement that fbods are like the new fox body, meaning parts are reasonable and the used market is good.
Are these cars going around what nada/kbb shows them as?
I'd really like a ~02 SS/WS6, around 50k miles, with some mods on it already.
Still haven't decided on an A4 or M6, but i've been driving an auto for about 2 years now and miss the manual.
Anyways, in order to get the above, what do you folks think i'll need to spend?

For a good '02 SS/WS6 I'd expect a good 8k AT LEAST.
I shopped around for a good long time before I found my LT1, 56K miles and near perfect condition, $6000, just a '95 Z28 though.
EDIT: quick searches on autotrader were above 11K, but yea...

Seems like the prices have dropped a little since I last considered an LS1. I'd like to stay 15k and under. Maybe I can end up getting something pretty decent and already has some nice mods on it.
