Rental car hookup? I need to rent an SUV this weekend and I’m curious if anyone that works for a rental car company might be able to key-in a better rate than hotwire and similar sites.

Best hookup EVER on rental cars...call 1-800-VIP-ERAC (Enterprise Rent-A-Car). Tell them you want to get an employee rental fro a family member (you), give them an employee # from some random floozy you have rented from in the past (its on the copy of your contract at bottom). POOF! Instant discount and FREE damage waiver. They never follow up on employee rentals unless it becomes a problem... i.e.10 rentals all over country by same random employee. Also easy to get an employee number over the phone if your desperate.

You could just tell them you want an (INSERT COMPANY) INSURANCE AGENT rate for some random training event. Works everytime! Ex. retail rate $85/day for a luxury car vs. insurance rate $38.99/day for a luxury car.
