I already own one ls1 but im not to keen on T/A's I found a bone stock ls1 m6 ta with t-tops for 6900 got him down to 6 even for it but im not sure if its a good buy because it has 150k on everythig... I paid 13 for my 2002 ss m6 t-tops and it had 60k on it

Also t/a had no rips i the interior at all

i wouldnt buy an ls1 over 100,000 miles. but thats just me

same here bc the money you save from the purchase of the car you can always just redeu the car ya know

why not? these engines are tough bastards, and for $6k, you could pull the engine, do a stock rebuild on it and sell it to someone else that's looking for a stock engine.....then turn around and drop a built engine into the body and do whatever the hell you want with it....especially if like the OP, you already have another vehicle that you can drive in the meantime.
