Damn!

"I don't know why on God's earth Tony Romo has been anointed a superstar in the National Football League," Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett told Fox Sports Radio.

As poorly as Romo played, he still handed the defense the lead with less than 4 minutes to go and they let the GIants go right down the field.

And the defense wasn't responsible for having to be on the field so much because a certain QB threw the ball to the wrong team 3 times.

that's why i never understood why they got rid of TO, romo was the problem. Romo cant throw a football worth a ****. He only throws 5 yard passes and hand offs. No long passes! Than the defense had to choke at the last 40 secs. ****** lame.

I don't know if I'd put it in those exact words, but yes, after MNF, the Cowboys will quiet a lot of critics.

how was the defense on the field so much? they shut down the giants in the red zone, and held brandon jacobs to less than 20 yards rushing? even with romo 3 int's he put a game leading drive and the defense couldnt hold the lead. fatigue had nothing to do with that drive bro.

I would definitely take Romo over TO. TO was a bad *** when he actually caught the ball, but I can't stand him at all.

I completely agree! The defense could have held them off one last time but didnt.

Sadly thats nothing to brag about, the bucs are a sorry team. How bad did the Giants beat them today? Its no wonder romo put up good numbers against them. They better beat the Panthers or Romo is going to have some serious questions to answer.

As far as the defense holding last week, its very hard to dominate all 60 minutes of the football game, and the best defense is a good offense. By that I mean if you can keep your offense out on the field and chew up large chunks of the clock (not turn it over 3 times) its less your defense has to play, which means less time for the opposing offense to figure out your defense and the weak spots. All teams no matter how good are going to give up the big plays eventually.

okay, so drew brees throws 6 TD against the lions. , but i guess its nothing to brag about..

the point im getting at is that romo threw a career high without T.O.

as for the defense, they just needed to hold the last series. they couldnt stop the giants on crucial 3rd downs. it had nothing to do with being tired? did you see the cowboys worn out? did you hear the sports commentators say " the cowboys are beginnnig to wear out?

anyways, that was last week.. the cowboys have to definitely show up tonight against the panthers.

i didnt realize the commentators were a gauge on how tired a defense is. the fact is the defense would not have been on the field so much if romo hadnt turned the ball over 3 times. thats a point you cant argue.

personally, i think the last drive had more to do with a crappy defense than a good defense being tired, but i still think romo leaving them to clean up his mess all night played a part in it.
