you wanna know what i did!? I paid a tex-mex tint shop 20 bucks to write me a recipt saying they stripped off the tint, ticket dismissed

Trooper measured my tint at 2% on the front and 1% on the back, that was 2006

In my experiences with these issues you always have to have the vehicle physically there so they see it. They won't accept a picture, a signed shop paper, etc. Now things may have changed since my last issue. And I never dealt with the judge, I only had to show the court clerk and a constable to get mine dismissed.

Thanks for all the advice, I will remove the tint, go to Court on my Trans am so they can see it if they wish and get the ticket dismissed. I will then get it retinted with the legal %.

I dunno if New Mexico law is anything close to Texas law but I have gotten pulled over multiple times for my tint on my truck.
On my truck I put 5% tint on it by the way.
Every time I get pulled over or have to go to court for it I just tell them my truck came with the tint already installed and I cannot afford to remove it. So they usually dismiss the citation for me.
I have told a few friends to say that too and they got theres dismissed also.
Its worth a try I suppose.

Haha wow your courts are gullable. That's pretty interesting that saying that worked, nice job.
