I need to rant
I need to rant My fiancees jeep was broken into right outside our house early this afternoon. What ever waste of life did it broke out the small backseat window on the drivers side. They stole her cd player and her iPod also. They ripped out the entire middle console area and saw that her cd player had a cord connected to it from the glovebox, where the iPod is locked up. So they ripped the glovebox apart and took it. Took nothing else, no cd's under the seat, none of the ones on the visor. My wonderful city (garland) said no cop was coming out, got one to anyway to make a report. I ******* hate how some people work hard to get things then lowlife ******** take it and destroy property as an added insult!
Sad to hear. Was the iPod engraved on the back? Mine was recently stolen from my locker at school, so I filed a report with UPD. A few days later they found it at a local pawn shop, and caught the guy who stole it. They found it by my name being engraved on the back...

Same for me about 2 weeks ago. Instead of the window they decided to use a crowbar underneath my door handle on my truck. IPod and my LCD deck stolen. Crappy part is they can't use the deck b/c once it's powered down you have to have my passcode. Panasonic will not reset it.
It wasn't engraved, but the cd player was iPod compatible with the patch cord from the iPod to the player. That's how they found the iPod, but left the cord in place.
To add to the rant...... I wanted to work on my car in the garage yesterday but had to let it cool off first. So I pulled in and shut the garage door but left it open about 3ft. I go inside for no more than 10 minutes when a neighbor 4 houses down bangs on my door. He tells me he caught some black guy creeping under and inside my garage. He said he peeked underneath, looked around and started inside. My neighbor yelled at him and the guy dove out and ran off. Supposedly it's a teenager and the family just moved in two weeks ago and the cops already visited the house 2-3 times. I wish I had one piece of proof, or even probable cause so I could have reason to visit the home or have the cops do it. On Saturday, someone broke in another persons garage and stole a wine bag and two unopened bottles. one was found behind the alley empty and the other was broken not too far from the empty one.
