how screwed am i
i got one for doing 89 in a 65, paid it on my iPhone right in front of the officer, 230 with a 20 dollar service charge to pay in on the net. I would have taken a DD class, but since I didn't have a TX liscense yet they were going to keep my out of state liscense until I paid it or took the class and was not about to go with out any ID when I was going out to have fun in a college town.
If it's your first ticket for 11 over it's not a big deal, try and see if you can get it reduced to general speeding then it won't even matter if insurance does see it. I would just take the DD class and be done with it, online is easy!

WELL i will take the dd class. want to kno whats ironic lol . i was at work and i seen a radar detector in this dudes truck , i asked him how much those things cost. next thing you know he gave it to me.
said he got a ticket, but its been working fine for me. if only i can get something to stick it to my window. it looks to be a cheap cobra

What works like a champ to keep from getting tickets is to not speed. Last speeding ticket I got was for 135 in a 20 about 10 years ago in hs. Had a brand new 99ss with some goodies from mti and showing off to my friends in front of the high school late at night after a late practice. Ended up paying around 500 and 80 hrs of community service and it was off my record.
