Are you from Oklahoma or something? Seems like you are drilling it down to who Texas has beat this year just like all of our great Sooner fans from last year.

Look at it like this Texas played 13 games and went 13-0, they won in every possible way that you could win, Nebraska played 13 teams and went 9-4, they played the same caliber of teams Texas did, If Nebraska had an offense it would of been Nebraska 35, Texas 9. The Texans need to get the #1 pick and get Suh(that guy is bad). Florida also won by ever way possible, they were not the best team this yr, but just found a way to win and Alabama roasted them on a fire in the end. Alabama wanted the win since last year and thats why they destroyed "chomp chomp nation". If Alabama plays like they are supposed to, it will be Alabama over Texas in the big game.

It's funny to see all the Alabama fans finally come out of the closet since they beat Florida

I think it will be a good game, depending on which texas team shows up. Muschamp is good, but there is no way he'll just "shut them down". Even if they almost lost a few, they still came back and won. If they had trouble with Suh, they will have the same problem with Terrence Cody. Game on. Saban has already said his defense is finaly where he wants them, and this guy has been coaching defense since the 70's.
Cody isn't half the player that Suh is. and Mark Ingram is the second best running back on his team. They just happen to give him the ball the most. 28 carries for just over 100 yard is not impressive when his teammates are almost hitting 100 with 8-9 carries.

Well, auburn and tennessee are better talent than just about anyone that texas had on their schedule this year. Bama made a horrible coaching decison at the end of the tennesee game that almost cost them, and i doubt saban will ever let that happen again. And Bama got surprised early against auburn, but played their type of game the whole rest of the game, just had to do it from behind. You obviously didnt watch that one if you think auburn had a chance to pull that game out. And you comparing those two well played games(from both teams each game) to that train wreck texas and nebraska had last night is kinda silly.

and texas doesnt have the caliber of defense to shut bama down. the game is going to be a good game, but if bama plays the way they have the last few games, texas is going to be in trouble.

Youre right, mount cody is TWICE the player that suh is. All my texas fan buddies are talking about this suh kid, and how he is the only reason nebraska was in the game. Well, alabama has about 20 players on defense that play like that guy, I guess texas will be fortunate that they arent all allowed to be on the field at the same time. and mark ingram would be the number one back on just about any team in the country, not sure why youre trying to tear him down. But youre right, bama has a true freshman sensation by the name of trent richardson that is a wrecking crew when he is needed. good luck texas D line.

unless you are confused about the size joke i made about terrance cody being bigger than suh, i dont understand. because alabama has the BEST defense in the country, and texas hasnt seen anything like it this year. and mark ingram is a beast, you dont become a heisman finalist for nothing. take that Big 12 sack off your head, and then remove those burnt orange tinted glasses, and all will be right with the world. And fortunately, I watch WAAAAAAY too much college football. I even watch all the longhorns games i can, and ive seen how they struggle with even the most worthless teams until those incomplete teams get tired the second half of the game, and texas then runs over them. You can't do that to the teams that can play a full game.

Considering he can block two holes at once, I would say he is pretty effective. He's not as fast as Suh but that's not what he does, he is not a pass rusher, but his purpose still works. He is the strongest nose tackle in the country, and a first round pick. They will not be able to run up the middle like they keep trying to do with newton.

As for Mark Ingram, here are your RB stats:
CR TY TPC LNG TD
Mark Ingram 249 1542 6.2 70 (TD) 15
Trent Richardson 126 642 5.1 52 (TD) 6
Roy Upchurch 46 290 6.3 34 2

I'm not seeing the 100 yards a game for the backups. Upchurch is a SR, and Trent Richardson would probably start on any college team.

Truthfully, the thing texas is going to see that they havn't yet (they havn't played a pack10, big 10, or an SEC team all season) is the speed of this defense. True, Suh is a freak of nature, but Saban bases his team around speed, and he likes guys that travel east and west. The quickness they show to the ball is top in the country.

Truthfully, Alabama beat the number 1 team in the country (almost 500 yards of total offense), and Texas beat a team that was battling with Kstate and Missouri for a top north seed.

You may think Florida is overated, but going 12-1 in the SEC is no easy feat. Calling them overated is typical UT talk. Did you play them, no, did you play anyone in the SEC, no. Give credit where credit is due unless you beat them, or hell, even play somone they played.

I guess actually playing football all the way to my late 20's I learned to respect other programs and athletes.

Yall had the weakest schedule ive ever seen this year!

I love college football, and talking crap about it, so please, no one take it personal! But Bama is gonna take it all, in a good game of course; and Ingram wins the heisman. ROLL TIDE!!!!
They(UiFelons) did it by playing Mary's school of the blind and Aurther's school of the poor who couldn't even afford helmets. Heck, FL doesn't even schedule OOC (out of confernce for you UiF fans) out of state, much less away from the Swamp. The last OOC game that UiFelons played on the road, out of state, was 1991 and they lost to 'Cuse.

Congrads to AL. I just hope that the NCG is a good game.

Gotta Give Bama credit where credits due! they came out and wanted it more then fl did!! from the get go they hit fl and hit them hard!! bamas number 2 def shut down a good offense and ran all over the number 1 defense.. guess we can win them all.. its harder to win back to back like that cause so many teams are coming after you.. bama was still butt hurt after last years sec champ loss and wasnt gonna let it happen 2 yrs in a row thats all that was..

tx had a terrible game from what i could see.. most of the time the games at the end of the year are the hardest ones to win.. that bein said, like bama and fl had to do through out the year, tx found a way to win and thats all that matters.

I know tx will have to play ALOT better game against bama then they did against nebraska or they will get beat just as ok did last yr again fl!! with that bein said LETS GO HORNS!

after reading thru this thread you are an idiot! Suh will prob be the overall #1 pick in the draft. and to say bama has 20 players just as good? they don't have one near as good! then you go on to say Ingram isn't a Heisman finalist for nothing. well news break!!!!!! suh is a finalist too! is anyone on bama's D? nope didnt think so!

bama has played mediocre teams and look like **** barely winning, as has tx! its all about peaking at the right time! and neb would beat either tenn or auburn! tx's defense is just as good as bama's! with our rush def the best in the country. i am worried bout out o-line tho! but i will agree that if bama playes like they did against tx (which i dont think they will) we could be in trouble.

Suh is a standout on a lame nebraska team, in a conference that is not known for defense. He is a special player, but there are several players on alabamas defense that contribute in much the same way he does to his team, only they are a much better unit. and i hate to break it to you, there are several players on the bama defense that are first round picks this year and next. and if rolando mcclain stays his senior year, he is a heisman candidate(not legit because no defensive players ever really are) and he goes as one of the top picks in the draft. dont get your panties bunched up. and not that it matters because the games wouldnt happen, but tennesee and auburn could stomp nebraska, and both of those teams would give texas a game. tennessee's defense is much better than nebraskas, only tenn can actually move the ball a little bit on offense.

and bama struggled against all these mediocre teams huh? you mean all the sec teams that were just about all in the top 25 this year, until other SEC teams beat them? what do you call struggling? and i keep seeing a UT fan ragging TCU about strength of schedule rating. well TCU was a 75, texas was a mighty 30, what would you call alabam running the table and having a rating of 4? mediocre schedule huh?
