heater core question

Default heater core question

ok guys i just bought a mustang for a daily driver it didnt have the heater core hooked up so bought a new heater core installed it and now i have heat with one problem. I am pouring water under the car some how no leaks up top could this be a bad heater core or could i have hooked up something backwards. The car didnt even have heater lines so could i have hooked them up backwards and it cause this.

Having to remove the dash causes many people to just bypass them. I would guess you just hooked it up wrong.
