Default emission laws

can i run headers no cats and cat back exhaust in texas? emission law?

Legally, no. Even in non emissions testing counties you still need to pass a visual. You could gut a cat and have it welded on to pass the visual. If you live in a non-emissions testing county then you'll be fine, if you do then you need to get more creative. I heard that on a healthy motor some tuners can write you a tune to pass inspections with no cats. Not sure how much they cost for tunes like that though and you still need to pass a visual.

There's an place online that sells fake cats for 35 a piece. Can pass a visual with no problems.

its illegal, but you can do some things to bypass the system. i.e. tuning, etc.. I run my mine with no cats.

no cats on mine but I also don't have to have even a visual where mine is tagged
