I was hoping to get some new dyno numbers today. Heres an idle video Steven made on the dyno. The torque tube and driveshaft decided they didnt want to be a part of the car anymore and exited the car on the first pull. I should have some good carnage pics tommorrow.

It was never checked as it was installed the way it came from RPM. The torque tube/drive shaft was a custom job from RPM with the 4L80 conversion, suppossedly good to 1500rwhp. Looks like they built it as strong as the first 4L80, shitty.

LOL!!! Awesome! I want in on that action! Some people just dont get it RC. No worries and good luck with the broken parts...better you find those weak links now than later on the road somewhere!

is the exhaust making any noises or rubbing against anything?
Looks awfully close to the frame in some places.

Sweet car!

Ouch sucks to hear about the breakage! Hopefully they fix it right this time instead of it breaking with less power then what they claim it's good for. That's complete and utter bullshit in my opinion. They better stand behind their product!

My dealings with RPM parts has been a failure since my build started. The first trans they sent broke the converter on the first low boost dyno pull, and grenaded the whole trans on the second pull.LMR was told today I got one of the first 4L80 conversions and they have an updated torque tube/driveshaft now. They upgraded the newer ones for fear of the originals could break. Wish I had that bit of info a few days ago. RPM trans are a bunch of clowns in my book.
