Not here to stir up anything, but what exactly was not up to par on the car Steven?

Why do people spend a ton of money to build a car and not drive it themselves?

I don't know. Ask all those millionaires that have extremely fast cars that they don't drive like the ones in adrl and nhra... They must be idiots huh??

LMR, you guys are legendary at backing up your combos with stellar track times which makes me wonder why you've gotten into the habit of posting projected/calculated/estimated horsepower numbers as opposed to what your chassis dyno actually read. There's no shame in a 890rwhp 2010 Camaro. In fact it's badass. You just open yourself up to ridicule by posting these projected/calculated/estimated horsepower numbers in your thread titles.

I really don't see why everyone is whining about them saying it's a 1000hp car, when it clearly is producing 1000hp at the crank. The whole rest of the world uses crank numbers, quit being elitists. So many 30+ yr old adults on this site act like children, but I guess that's what happens when people talk through a keyboard... no respect.

Your 8 second car does not compare.

It's like buying a badass cake / dinner / whatever, and then watching someone else eat it... I never said anyone was an idiot. I just think most people who enjoy driving and racing would want to physically enjoy their investment instead of watching someone else do it.

like u said, most people..but i already have a 9 second ride at the time..

hmmm..let me see??? Should I enjoy watching my 8 second ride from the stand with my buddies and crew that helped built the car??? OR should i put on a hot *** suit and get into an uncomfortable car so i can enjoy my investment?? i think i will let my speed junky friend take it down the track and I will enjoy my toy how i want to enjoy it..

u need to see the other side of the story if u are going to talk smack..

Is it crazy expensive to build a car like yours? I like them a lot, but have never ventured away from LSX's and Mustangs

its so much cheaper than the LSX...i can guaranteed u that!!

we dont have to buy alot of aftermarket parts like a block and heads..

and everything u need to make atleast 1000HP to the WHEELS is off the shelf.. just make sure its done right the first time..

Or u can take ur LSX to LMR and have them custom build u a "1000HP" set-up..Im sure they will get it done right!!!!!!!!!!

It still doesn't make sense to me, but different strokes for different folks I guess.
