extended warranty help

buying the ole lady a used car, want to put an extended warranty on it, I've heard so many different ones from commercials, etc, was wondering what anyone on here might have used in the past. any help would be great, thanks guys!

Get it from the maker of the car, not that BS you see on TV. What type of car is it?

ONLY buy an extended warranty thru the Manufacturer. I.E.... GM Protection Plan, Ford ESP.
The After-market plans make their own rules. They will use non O.E. parts and used parts in some cases.
