Got a little cold as the sun went down, but the conditions were damn near perfect for the cars.

Anyone hear if Tony Pedregon was ok after his accident, or what happened?

He had some burns on his face and hands. Didn't get taking by ambulance anywhere. Ice packs and sent him back to his pits.

Robert Hights body should have been totalled. but they fixed it and had it back on the track. Blew the whole front of the blower off.

Angie Smith's bike was pretty toast. She is hot and the fire made her hotter.

Saturdays rain sucked. 3hrs of on and off again rain. The track crew did a good job of drying the track out and getting the show back on. It started off nasty, but turned out to be a nice afternoon.

Now if I can remember to work out for a few weeks before next years race. And listen to the wife about putting on sun screen. Dang body is sore and arms and face are sunburnt

I saw the recap yesterday on ESPN2. Glad he made it back in the seat.

it was wild to see that in person^^^ houston is known for it though, we get awsome track conditions with near perfect weather and put all that on top of sea level air, youll either get a new record or a hella video to show the grandkids

Wish I could have sat. Stood most of the time, need to be on your feet ready to jump into action to get the cars off the track. Worked 14 hours friday, 16 saturday and 9 sunday. Sat and Sun I was working the first turn off past the finish line. I was one of the guys pulling that heavy *** gate open.
