Default Where to visit?

My roomate and I are doing a roadtrip from Canada, to Texas in early September. We're trying to get everything planned out now so we can start saving up. We're wondering what's interesting to see in Texas? Also, where are some good tracks, I fully intend on racing while we're down there!

Thanks,

Amanda

You should also check out the River Walk in San Antonio. Fiesta is happening this week.

From what has been said in other post

Stop in Austin stay the night head up to sixth street

next day go to new braunfuls float the river

Next spend the day on the riverwalk and check out the alamo in San Antonio. Head out to San Antonio Raceway SAR in the evening for some racing.

Keep heading south. Hit up South Padre and hang out at the beach for a day or 2.

Thats what I would do. On the way back I would head toward Houston and hit up the town and track.... Or you could head the other direction toward Midland there's nothing around here but if you feel like getting smoked in a race I would gladly hand it to you.

have a good trip

Theirs not much to see at the river walk latley it seems. Its been looking pretty nasty a few weeks ago when i was down there working. Defiantly go trough the hill country. Some fun twisty hilly roads around the Vanderpool/Utopia area

Sounds good. Mexico is on the list, somewhere along the way, if we have time. We were thinking of going to Mexico when we're in southern california, but whatever ends up working out will do!

Sweeeeeeet

Do your research before crossing the border. Most border towns are racked up with violence.
