About the same as building a shelby roadster kit car. This car looks mildly safer though.

Just depends on the build quality. I've seen 2 sell for low $100s that were both SEMA cars and I've seen one really nice one go for $75K..

Yes, build quality is a huge factor in these cars. It's a fun/interesting build though....
