Advise on a speeding ticket!!

I got a ticket yesterday on I10 in Baytown. It was a Harris Co sheriff in a truck. I was going 72 I know because I had just looked at my speedometer. I didn't see him but he said I went past him doing 75. I looked in my rearview mirror and I seen a truck on my azz so I sped up and he stopped me. It wrote me up for 80 in a 65. I couldnt see the lights when he was on my azz guess because of how the firebird sits. He was rude and I was pissed. Clearly there are ppl going faster than 72 on I10.
