i had both a Yamaha and a Honda. I raced Yamaha bikes and love all things Yamaha. That being said i preferred the Honda over the Yamaha and always made my friends ride i the Yamaha. only because the excessive body roll the poor turning radius the Yamaha had. The Honda felt like it was stuck to the ground and only had 1" less ground clearance. We beat the ever living **** out of both of them and never had issues with either.
My vote is Honda.

well, i'm a big polaris fan. i have had 2 of them now with no major problems. 1st was a 04 330 mag that was given to me new when i was 15. i rode the **** out of it and the only problem i ever had was the rear caliper went out on me and i had to replace it. currently it has 3100 miles and still runs great. 2nd is the 2010 850XP that i picked up in jan 2010. After 28in highlifter outlaws and 380 hard miles still not 1 problem, i LOVE it
but if POLARIS is out of the question a friend has a Brute Force 750 that i have really taken a liking to. it is nowhere near as fast as my 850xd, but it is a quality machine with great aftermarket potential.
thanks
robbie

well guys, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 2011 Rincon...BUT it won't be here till like July 17th cause I HAD TO HAVE a red one...They only had the Camo one in stock and I'm not a fan of the pattern Honda uses....anyways, when it gets here it goes straight out of the crate directly to being under the knife....yes sir, 0 miles 0 hours and it get's a Hot Cam, Gear Reduction, Looney Tuned exhaust, K&N filter, and snorkeled before it even sees any run time or use... after it gets broke in with the Hot Cam it's gotta go back to have the valves reset and junk, then it gets a 2" Lift on some 14" ITP SS106 or SS108's wrapped in either 28x9.5 Outlaws or some 29.5 Silverbacks.. so needless to say by the time I get it me and the Mud have a playdate
in case anyone's wondering on what the cost is going to be, it's running me right at $8,980 out the door....

I have a 2009 Can-Am Renegade X 800R. I got it for $8250 brand spankin' new. I'm probably going to have to break down and put some big tires/wheels on it if I plan on riding much. I just like ripping up trails and hauling ***, but 99% of my buddies just play in the mud.

You might want to look at a Suzuki King Quad. I have a 450 and would probably recommend getting a 750 for the extra power. I haven't had any issues with mine and its a blast to ride.

I'm partial to Honda too! For years my riding has consisted of pleasure/track/sand riding. After a hardcore back surgery the 450R sits a lot now. Only in the last few years have I gotten the desire to get a utility quad and want a Rincon or Rancher to the 3k acre deer lease work. I love hondas, and still love to go fast on dirt but I don't just bounce back after get-offs anymore. In '06 my factory/dealership HRC'd 450r was the fast stuff, now this KTM 450/525 is the go fast, unload and Moto-x/GNC quad, I'd love to have one.

IMO I wouldn't get anything but a sport quad! I enjoyed showing the 4x4's up on climbing and running through the mud. I've seen afew 4x's loose it going up hills I just run up. I can see owning one if all you wanna do is play in the mud, but when it comes to speed, climbing, and handling sports are the way to go!
