# allowed not ready codes?
I have no cats and I dont have the AIR system anymore. I went to Keith Craft on plano parkway and I was told since my cars a 2001 I was only allowed one not ready code while pre 2001 f-bodies were allowed two. Is this true? Tried a search but no solid answers..
PM me if anyone knows someplace friendly to get it inspected, Im back in Plano for the summer.

I think that is true. You won't pass a visual without cats (but they probably won't notice the AIR) and you'll probably need a tune to get the not readys cleared.
I don't think they test in College Station so why not get it inspected down there?

Effective October 15, 2008:
For vehicles year model 2001 and newer, we allow one (1) non-continuous monitor to be Not Ready and still pass the test, but two (2) or more Not Ready's will cause the vehicle to fail.
For vehicles year model 1996 – 2000, we allow two (2) non-continuous monitors to be Not Ready and still pass the test, but three (3) or more Not Ready's will cause the vehicle to fail.
