Swapping factory tune from one car to another
Swapping factory tune from one car to another I heard that it is true that with a Tech II, we can pull the stock tune from one car and put it in another.
I am asking because I am interested in the stock tune from the v6 camaro that is rated at 305 horsepower and putting it in my malibu with the same engine but 50 horsepower less. I was told that by using the vin number, we can swap tunes. Is this real or B.S?

not possible your 10 malibu is all on can data and is locked with vin all modules communicate with each other and relay data back and forth, even atempting to do it will more than likely lock the ecm...
hell you can even do that on older cars much less yours,
as well if your mentioning the 10 camaro v6 your way off that motor is direct injected vs your normal 3.6 v6
