LS1/T56 Pullout questions

LS1/T56 Pullout questions Ok so I am going to put an LS1 and T56 in the next 2nd gen Trans Am I get. What should I expect to pay for the combo with the harness and computer? Where can I buy them from? Should I go with a 5.3 since it will be cheaper? I was only planning adding just a cam and headers, MAYBE heads if it fits in the budget. Hoping for a little south of 380rwhp. Honestly the only thing holding me back is my cars not selling.

Well if you are patient and a bit lucky like me you can find great deals.
I found my LS1/T56 combo, electric fans and radiator, master, brake booster, wiring harness, pcm, and tan leather seats for a grand total of $2000.
Not to mention that he included the pacessetters LT's and y pipe, and the whole front end suspension. I could have gotten a ws6 hood for 175 that I could have flipped for more but decided for the seats instead.

A very low miles one like the one I just sold will go for 4500-5000 shipped.
You can find ones with 80k for about 3500-4000, and higher mileage ones are less.

2500$ is what the lowest the go for, then there are salvaged rides for 3000ish and used complete cars with mileage for 4-5000$.
I got my 6.0 for 700$, trans for 1000$ then i went carbed, that cost me 600$ for the int and MSD 6010. Then there are camshaft upgrade costs ect, but that is all in how you want it to run. A 5.3 goes for 500ish, give or take, so there is money to be saved with a 5.3 engine.

Honestly miles don't matter since I will do a mild rebuild when I put in a cam, hopefully less than 120k miles.. I found a pullout for $2800 with 80k on it.. Hopefully I can find a salvage camaro or T/A for $3,000 that way I wont be missing anything.
