Road Trip
Road Trip Over memorial weekend I took a little road trip from Midland to Houston. I went up I-10 to houston and came back I-45 through Ft Worth and down I-20. I just wanted to vent a little bit on the driving habbits across Texas.
First big city I hit was San Antonio. Now I was in the camaro and was in a hurry so I was trying to manuver through the traffic. If you live in San Antonio I would like to inform you that the left lane on the highway is the FAST LANE!!! Get the hell out of that lane if people in the other lanes are passing you. What I did notice though is that the most of these vehicles were jammed packed full of what looked to be illegals. No offense but there are a lot around the San Antonio area.
Houston, actually wasn't that bad. I know the 60mph speed limit has everyone slowed down a little. People moved out of the way, used blinkers, and all that crap. Was dissapointed though because i drove all around and didn't run into anything worth playing with. Drove on I-10, Westhiemer, 610, 59, and I-45 with nothing to play with.
Ft Worth I am going to keep this simple. If you are going the same speed as the person in the lane next to you get in front or behind them. When you are cruising @ 55 and the person next to you os going 55 you are blocking everyone behind you that wants to go the speed limit.
PS I-10 Midland to Houston is a lot quicker. Made it in 6 hours.
