I heard it was a 300000 shot. Ls1's can handle a 500000 shot though..

not to sure on the shot but the computer is untuned the had to do some trickery to fool the computer. strictly had no backing when they made this pass. they did this purely on there own. that sais alot about them.

How long did it take people to get an fbody near that time after they went on sale? 4-5 years? lolz @ the haters.

Actually I think the LS cars are the ones that need to do some catching up Zane.

Pretty sure they went tens N/A in a 2011 gt before the 2010 camaro did, and the quest to go nines in the Camaro has just recently been done as well with the GT's doing it right behind them, but in a tenth of the time. You have got to love the new 5.0. It's running some serious times, and in half the time the 5th gens have.

When I bought my 5th gen in June last year I'm pretty sure we were the first to do alot of things. I didnt go 9's on a stock longblock but if I would have swapped to an auto I could have a long time ago. Thats alot of nitrous, props to them. The car hauls the mail for sure.

Lets let the people do the talking, not the shop backed cars.

Bryan LOL. I know I was just making sure.

Richard owns the car and does own Strictly. The car went 10.8s @ 128 with gears, home built h-pipe, mufflers, suspension and a 100 dry shot with no tuning.

He decided to step his game up and put an auto in and the shot was pilled at 250. I was at his shop 2 weeks or so ago when he first started plumbing the kit. I never said anything because he said to keep it quiet till he knocked out the number

The car is fast, real fast. I'd like to put the Ls3 back in my car with a stock cam and gears and spray it till it melted and see if I could go 9's. I bet it would

I'd donate some money to see it happen but I'm leaving tomorrow at 11 to go **** away that money in Vegas LOL!!!

I figured Evolution would be the first in the 9s as they have consistently making head way with the new 5.0s. Strictly wanted the 9 second title more it would seem. I still would like to see Evolution go 9s using the stock running gear. I'm also waiting to see what these cars do with converter/bolt on/gas set ups using the stock trans, are you listening Circle D?

The fastest N/A gt is currently 10.50's at 124, and it's a manual. Not to take anything away from you're accomplishmints because these are two different cars, but the new mustangs have put up some huge numbers in a very short amount of time.

Mustangs have always had better drag type people behind them so the numbers don't suprise me! go ahead bryan put the LS3 back in it and try and go head to head with the mustang boys! bring back the ford vs chevy wars!
