T,
With the weight of this rifle, there is no noticeable difference in shooting the 6.8 over a 5.56. The 6.8 in a stripped down rifle has more recoil than a 5.56, but nowhere near a 7.62(308).

Sweet setup. Just a question, on the free floating barrel are you noticing a significant increase in accuracy over the traditional foregrip setup?

I have never owned an AR with the traditional plastic handguards. I can say that every one I have built will shoot sub-moa.

i've never been a gun guy, but what's the benefit of having something that "serious" for lack of a better description, when all you can do it shoot it at a range.

guess i've just never understood peeps who buy big bad *** guns then never get to really use them.

I use every firearm I own on a regular basis. In my opinion someone owning a big gun is no different than a guy that mods a car. You say my gun isnt useful anywhere but at a range, well why do people mod cars? They are only useful at the track. I happen to really enjoy building and shooting all sorts of firearms, so in reality the only benefit is that I enjoy it.

as long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters. when you say you use them on a regular basis, does that just mean you go to a firing range often? do you utilize the grendade launcher? (i.e. dunno if it is a grenade launcher. i do see where it reads use only approved smoke, gas, etc)

good try on the car comparison, but i dont just "use" it at the track

not hatin on your ****. looks kick ***. i guess its just one of those things that you have to be in to. same goes for competitive fishing. i got a buddy who's dropped over a grand on a rod/reel setup and i'm like "WTF"! lol

of course he gives me the same **** for dropping over $500 on a set of injectors. lol

FLAME ON!... The man just said he has lots of land where he can shoot at his house, as do I.. I go out once a week and set up targets in the field and practice. And as for the launcher, yeah it looks cool... Why do you put aftermarket wheels on your car?

Gun looks very nice. I'll put myself an AR together one day.
