I saw that video a few days ago, I forwarded it to everyone in the office, people who don't give a damn about phones were rolling, much less the few tech oriented people here. I may consider a switch to the HTC EVO 4G, cheaper monthly plan, and a comparable phone for cheaper.

Thats been alot of the problem, there hasn't been much of a comparison, but with the HTC EVO 4G, I may take the switch and test it out, and if it is garbage, there is the 30 day return policy and all you lose is the activation fee.

Not everyone is going to like the same thing, people need to understand that. Besides, why just have 1 type of smart phone? It's nice to have a choice. I have a Iphone 3G and love it still who knows what I will get next after it.

These smart phone threads are popping up as fast and often just as the 5.0 Mustang threads were...lol

I'm still rockin my iPhone 3GS 16gig...just has the iPhone4 OS and love it more, now for the price I pay a month it's not bad considering what I have ($102/month, unlimited internet, unlimited text, blah blah blah).... So I can't video chat and don't have a forward facing camera on mine, but hell, if I wanted to look at someone's ugly mug I'd meet em in person.....

IMO a phone is a damn phone no matter what brand/make it is....to each is their own...

Then again with a android phone you can get the full replacement warranty, swap in new batteries, and expand storage up to 32 gigs via a mini sd card.

Truthfully, it's like comparing apples to oranges, they both have good and bad. There are a number of android phones out, and my HTC Hero does the job fine (paid 100 bucks for it). If I had AT&T I would probably have an Iphone, but there is no way in hell I am going to pay 100+$ for a plan that doesn't even equal my 70$ plan from Sprint. My work phone is with AT&T (personal with sprint), but I use it for just email and ticket tracking and an Iphone would cost me and be overkill as we can't run apps on it. Only thing I hate with my AT&T work phone is the speaker feedback.

As for the Nano, I miss my old 3rd gen, which was stolen. The new nano, although 16 gig, is horrible. Why the hell would i need a camera on an ipod, plus the motion sensor is anoying as hell at the gym.

Still have my old scandisk, but 512 just doesn't cut it.

This is easy for me!! Sprint service sucks in west texas. AT&T and Verizon are your only real choices. So Iphone it is!!

Well, i have had my iphone4 for about a week and a half now, and i love it. I am a first time iphone user and had no problem getting used to it. The U.I. is awesome. It fits in my pocket perfect. I went and looked at the evo 4g before i switched, and that thing is huge! there is no way i would want a phone that big to lug around. My wife got the HTC Aria and its a awesome phone and works very well. Im coming from verizon with horrible service, and am so glad to get rid of them! Im so much happier with AT&T.

I willl get the iphone soon i dno because I have AT&T? what is so hard to get about that, i dont want sprint, and i have a contract with AT&T, I am not going to break my contract to get a little better phone spec wise? Also the iphones app market will never be smaller than droids, also the OS on the iphone is really nice.

AT&T doesn't have a 4g network. As a matter of fact there isn't a company that truly has 4G. Sprint uses clear and makes the city a giant wifi spot. It's not a true 4G though. T-mobile just launched hspa+ (same thing as clear with sprint) making us "4G". The iPhone stunted AT&T growth and we are seeing it in motion. No more unlimited Internet plans and raising the termination fee to $325. I'm going to wait for the samsung vibrant aka the galaxy. It's and iPhone but android, with all the HD2 features. I have an iPhone and an HD2. It's going to be awesome... It's also smaller than the evo and HD2 but larger than the iPhone.

One reason people go thru so many Droids is because some service providers actually don't mind swapping out a phone that has problems at no charge. At least sprint does this, I have upgraded to two HTC phones at no cost. I think if you have issues with an Iphone, you have to buy a new one. I have absolutely no experience with AT&T or Iphone. I have only had three people show me a random phone and tell me that they have their phone because they are saving for another Iphone. But again, one of these people lost their Iphone. Again, I have no personal experience with these companies.

Question for you Sprint HTC EVO 4G guys, how is your service with the 4G? I have read some reviews and a lot of people are having issue connecting and some can't even get the service at all, even though they are in the "coverage area." How is the battery life for you? I have heard it is a lot better if you just turn 4G off, but that is one of the main points of that phone, the 4G, and people in the "coverage area" are having issues connecting and if you leave that enabled, it drains battery QUICK!

My AT&T service is horrible. Since iOS4 has come, I have dropped more calls than ever, and I don't even have the iPhone 4. Luckily, it won't cost me squat to break the contract and possibly switch to Sprint. The battery and 4G services are the only thing holding me back, PLUS the U.I. would be a bit of a change to have to get used to.
