So I have my debit/bank card in my wallet yet someone is using my digits to make transactions at ghetto places in a ghetto city yesterday.

Has anyone ever actually caught someone who was doing this? I have been calling the bank to find out the times of these transactions then calling the actual stores to see if they can get any type of footage of the jackass. I wont give up if they can id this person.

Any experiences with this/help?

My card has already been frozen as of last night.....

Sorry to hear about that man. That same sh** happened to me twice this year with no resolution. they are making phone charges and the bank is unable to locate the douche making the charges. Im trying to avoid using my debit card now and try to pay in cash where ever i go.

I had my cards info swipped and used in Georgia a few years ago - CapOne froze it and refunded all charges made.

Just call your bank, your not liable for it most of the time. Switch bank account numbers and be done with it.

Yeah just call your bank. I have Wells Fargo, and when I had some transactions on my account that I didn't make, they refunded me instantly.

man how in the world do they get your info? it happened to me once many many years ago back when they still used the imprint in cards... but put a stop to that.

its all just tech stuff, basically they can steal your info by hackin into gas pumps and atms, especially if you use your 4 digit pin#.

They basically have a card with there name and they magnatized it with my bank information.

I actually have a chick cop going to ID the people with the cameras at a store they made some purchases.

Thats the same thing the rep at the bank told me, but it happened to me when i went to go visit family in Cali...
