We are currently looking for someone who is familiar and able to build/tune LS engines as well as early style Chevy's and Fords. Must have own tools and be METICULOUS when it comes to attention to detail and documentation of work.

Experience Needed:
Engine assembling/Balancing/Blue Printing
Machining
Head Porting
Checking and setting of clearances
Final assembly of engine from stock - race engines
Dyno setup (operator a plus)
LS Tuning
Familiar with major performance parts/brands

So to even be considered, what are the basic requirements that someone should know? I know a lot, problem with me is that I haven't had a lot of opportunity to put it into practice

I am sure a SAM grad would be awesome! If you have a resume be sure to submit it to brandon. I'm pretty sure this is something they are looking for! Plus another Ls1tech member would be nice... That would make a total of 4 with you!

Mark Johnson is a helluva nice guy and LKQ is good company to work for, this would be great opportunity for qualified individual. Good luck in your search.

Heck no.....I cant think of a more laid back job. Your on your own, there is music playing in the assembly room and all the guys are good guys. Finding someone worth a darn or who can actually make it to work just seems to impossible.

We are now owned by LKQ which is a VERY large company, we are literally taking over the industry. Its a great time to get into this company while were taking off faster than ever.
