I'm definately on a budget, so these would work, im comparing these to the pacesetters. And also, I'm doing a header/y pipe set up that will pass inspection, so and suggestions of headers need to have the air, egr, and 02 ports. Also if anybody has some for sale I will take those into consideration as well. The car is a 99 trans am

They look good to me, but I have never personally used them, or known anyone that has. You might try a search and see if anyone has commented on fitment, issues etc...

Honestly man, for the price you can't beat the coated 1 3/4 Pacesetters. I think mine were like $350 shipped, I've had them on for about 2K miles now, and they still look new. Those painted headers are no bueno, plus they are 1 5/8.

I had those same headers when I bought my car, but they were coated, and had a lot of problems with them; exhaust leaks, EGR flange flew off the header one day...

Just do it right the first time, and get pacesetters. While you're at it might as well do motor mounts too.

Hedmans have been known for their thin tubing and thin flanges for many years. They were like that when I got into cars back in the 80's and I know before my time also.

Get something reputable like Pacesetters seem to be.

Those 1/4" flanges will warp and leak like crazy. If you need cheap get some used pacesetters.

I am running coated pacesetter long tubes on my WS6... been very happy with them and i'd recommend them over hedmans everytime. Pacesetter has gotta be one of the best budget set out there. I looked into all the different brands prior to my purchase cause i'm on a budget too... and more people have had a better experience with pacesetters over the other budget sets. You'd be very satisfied with them. Good luck with purchase wichever way you go.
