High flo Oil Pump.. Which is better?
High flo Oil Pump.. Which is better? I'm about to do a cam swap in my ta, and gonna do it right and swap out the oil pump along with it. I know a lot of other members have done this and was wanting your opinion on which is better. Cause i want the best bang for my buck. I'm looking at the usual 3 ...

i have the melling ls1 HV standard pressure. and it actually makes a little more pressure. melling pumps are not just factory pumps ported out, they are actually bigger/stronger/heavier duty etc. they are much less likely to fail on you and being that i've had gm pumps fail on me in the past i'm sticking with my melling.

I second this. This is the best Oil Pump IMO. And I have great oil pressure all around the RPM range!
And make sure you get the 10296 as stated above and not the 10295 as some get them mixed up a bit. And if you are running a double roller timing chain I can get you one that is already been shaved down for it to work flawlessly. And the same guy I know has the best prices around for them.
