This car came to me after just sitting in the garage for a good portion of its life. It was in really good condition and only needed minor correction. Having a lift to use made the process so much easier with being able to access the wheel wells and inner hoops of the rims this way. Not to mention not having to use my stool to get to the lower sections of the panels.

One pass of Menzerna SIP with an LCC orange pad.
Followed up with an LCC black pad and M205.
Polished with SFX and their synthetic wax using an LCC blue pad.
Wheels (inner hoops), wheel wells cleaned with APC+.
All trim and rubber was dress with SFX dressing.
Wheel wells dressed with Meguiars Natural Shine.

This was a test spot to ensure it was cleaned to my liking. The rest of the well was done the same as this.

I've done a few cars for this buddy of mine and this is his g/f's car he had me take care of.

The whole car had some pretty bad water etching along with the normal marring/swirls. I didn't take many before pics but it came out great.

APC+ diluted and used on the wheel wells, wheels/tires.
The whole car was done with a black LCC pad and M205 minus a few heavy areas. The clear really reacted well to this and I was pleased with the results.

For the heavy scratch you see, I stepped it up to a LCC purple hybrid foam/wool pad and M105 followed by an LCC orange pad and the new Optimum Hyper Compound Spray then followed by an LCC black pad and M205. There is a very minor section that is past the clear and would need to be wetsanded to fade it out a little more.

It was polished using SFX's line along with their wax. Tires and trim were dressed with SFX'x dressing and the wheel wells were dressed with Meguiars Natural Shine.

I normally don't take that to details but this car was very close to my parents house and I went by and picked it up first. It's the best little car ever. $26ish to fill up and I go for about a week and a half. It's two tone due to my dad backing into that fender along with someone hitting the front bumper a while back when I still lived at home.

I'm looking to sell it and get a truck.

It's silver. It's hard to get 'before' shots with so much metalic flake in the paint.

As for the black one...you don't see many black cars rolling around in the sun with no swirls. Especially a girls car.

 

Would you be intrested in Detailing my Z28? its in DESPERATE need of help lol and i dont have the paitience or experience to do it...but looks terrible with all the swirls and i hate it...im in irving also
