Default Quad 4 motors?

since winters sucks *****, and now having a cam it sucks even more *****, im buying a dd to get to and from work this year.

1990 cutlas Calais.

the car has 150k miles on it and apparently it is a legit quad 4 meaning dohc.

ive read that these motors last a while. i know that it was owned by one man, my friends dad who pasted away, and he was a service manager (my old boss) of a dealership his whole life, so i know maintenance wise it was taken care of.

what do you guys think of these cars? its a sedan black with i think a lighter color on the under body(think 2 tone) and is an auto

i also know it blew a head-gasket but that was taken care of proly 20k miles ago

any input greatly appreciated
