Default How has this not sold yet?

Curious why it hasn't sold because it's an SOM car for cheap..

Maybe it looks worse in person? Photos appear to be taken in an apartment parking lot, which indicates it probably hasn't lived inside a garage. 124K miles will also do some damage to the finish. That would be my guess.

Looks like the post isn't that old. Plus, he's asking $7500, which means most potential F-body buyers are trying to talk him down to $5000.

This is the second time I have heard of this car.. Someone on the boards here says he has seen this kids ragging the **** out of this car all the time.

The owner is 20 year kid and the guy from here lives in the same town as the CL seller.

I hope this helps.... I know if you look around the Texas section you will find out who it was.

Yeah, it's not the same car. Look at the inlets for the ram air unless he took the screens off.. Anyways I seriously doubt that a 20 year old that put an aftermarket exhaust on his car didn't rag on it at all.

The reality is that 4th gens have only a small, niche market. And most everyone in that niche already has one.

So trying to get a premium price for a car like this is very difficult.

Another thing that drives the price down is new cars. There are tons of incentives out there now for folks to buy new instead of used.

Also, financing is becoming a bitch for a 8-10 year old car. If you can find money, it's expensive money.

I posted asking about this a few weeks ago when it was posted for $8,500 cause I was interested in it until saw it in person......
Car was not kept clean, interior had dirt, and rocks in the floorboards, rock chips all over the nose and hood, My dad noticed a crack starting to pop up under the paint along one side of the nostrils.... it would have been one thing if the car was taken care of a lot better...not to mention the oil change sticker was showing it was 3,500 over..

When I schedule to view a car I am interested in and they show up and it's filthy, I tell them I am not interested instantly...if someone doesn't even wash it before a potential sale I don't even consider it. Just tells me about the history/kind of person tue owner is.

Yeah, I don't understand how people can't take care of their ****. I can understand it being a little dirty outside but it's not hard to vacuum the inside once a month.

The only fbodys that are bringing cash are low mileage very clean ones and they aren't bring that much. Fbodys with 100k plus miles are damn near a dime a dozen. There were two on here in the past week for $5k or less. The som is a popular color but if the paint is all chiped up its not really that good of a deal.
